After the sudden death of her father, Charlotte is cruelly abused by her succubus stepmother and two stepsisters. At an elven banquet, the Orc Queen arrives to choose a new bride with a magical goblin. After being secretly framed by her stepsister, Charlotte is chosen by the goblin and taken back to the orc castle as a “bargaining chip.” She is ordered to choose between two orc princes and marry one of them at her 18th birthday ceremony. At Saint Elaine’s Supernatural Academy, Charlotte meets two orc princes with completely opposite personalities: Vesper, an aloof, restrained snake prince with dark hair, and Claude, a charismatic, sunshine-bright lion prince with golden hair. As her stepsisters Skyler and Blair relentlessly torment her at school and the lecherous hyena Logan repeatedly schemes against her, the two princes transform into fiercely protective mates. They publicly declare Charlotte as theirs in front of the entire school, and time and again, they unleash their full beast forms—the Golden Berserker Lion and the Black-Armored Giant Serpent—to rescue her from danger. As they spend more time together and their intertwined fates pull them deeper into one another’s lives, Charlotte finds herself torn between the possessive, jealous Vesper and the gentle, devoted Claude. Caught between their overwhelming affection, she gradually falls hopelessly in love with both. On the eve of her coming-of-age ceremony, she even takes the final step with Vesper inadvertently awakening the rare and supreme bloodline of the “Holy Elf,” an ancient elven lineage of unparalleled power.
