Lena has been secretly married to Isaac for a year. She believes they married for love, never realizing she is nothing more than a pawn he uses to satisfy a family rule and qualify for the inheritance. Her false sense of peace shatters when Isaac's debt puts her in the hands of loan sharks. On a stormy night, a drugged Lena fights for her life and escapes, only to be rescued by Jack Kane, the West Coast's most ruthless mafia godfather and the CEO of a multibillion-dollar empire. The man looking at her with obsessive hunger is also her father-in-law.
