Olivia Moretti, a retired female boxing champion, fights in underground bouts to earn money for inhibitors to save her werewolf boyfriend Ethan, only to discover him getting intimate with Morgan, the daughter of a wealthy werewolf family, in a private box. Morgan shows up to humiliate her, and Ethan, in an attempt to “appease” Morgan, throws Olivia into a pile of broken glass. In her despair, she drinks the Moon Goddess’s potion, sacrificing half her lifespan and her capacity for love, yet awakening to even greater power under the moonlight. In the ring, she defeats her werewolf opponent; off the ring, she donates the entire $100 million prize. It wasn’t until Ethan used his body to shield her from a fatal blow that she finally stopped in her tracks—not to look back, but to say a formal goodbye. Afterward, she opened a children’s boxing gym, where sunlight streams over the punching bags, and there are no more steel cages.
