Elena is framed by her half-brother Richard and ex-fiancé Charles, left penniless and homeless. With her mother critically ill and needing 300,000 dollars for surgery, she strikes a deal offered by mysterious butler Albert: marry his supposedly vegetative master Vincent Salvatore for 500,000 dollars, with an extra two million bonus for good performance. Elena moves into a Gothic castle and takes good care of the motionless, handsome Vincent. Unbeknownst to her, Vincent has long woken up. He is a century-old pure-blood vampire king drawn to her unique blood scent, quietly regaining his power beside her. Vincent sends Elena to the group’s business training camp. Sabotaged by jealous colleague Davis and corrupt executive William, she defeats them with brilliant business proposals, while Vincent secretly eliminates all threats and officially acknowledges their marriage. Vincent’s elder siblings Arthur and Isabella plot a billion-dollar trap against her, but Elena outmaneuvers them with a poison pill strategy and claims record monthly revenue, earning the clan elder’s approval as the family matriarch. Arthur unleashes forbidden blood to lead a rebel vampire army against the castle. Vincent fights him head-on, while Elena uses ultraviolet and salt systems to wipe out foot soldiers. They crush the rebellion, and Arthur is stripped of his bloodline and imprisoned forever. After Elena’s mother recovers, the couple prepares their grand wedding. Elena chooses to become a pure-blood vampire to stay with Vincent for eternity. They are crowned under the blood moon, ruling both Wall Street and the vampire world.
