Victoria, chairwoman of the Carter Group, returns to New York early for her son Ethan's engagement party. However, due to intimate photos posted by Ethan, her future daughter-in-law Sofia mistakenly identifies her as a mistress. Sofia, along with her entourage, humiliates and beats Victoria, destroying her engagement gift and a photo of her deceased husband. After the truth is revealed, Ethan and Victoria begin to settle scores with Sofia's family, which uncovers a business conspiracy involving Sofia's lover, Lucas, and the Hayes family. Ultimately, Victoria, through strategic planning, leads Ethan to defeat the villains and protect the Carter family.
