The story takes place in a modern metropolis. The male lead, Zane, is an ordinary employee at a publicly traded company who begins an online romance with a woman he’s never met on a dating app. The two share common interests and their feelings for each other quickly grow; they’ve only exchanged private photos that don’t show their faces and have never known each other’s true identities. Zane’s online love interest turns out to be Aurora, the aloof, reserved, and ruthlessly decisive female CEO of his own company. Aurora is widely regarded throughout the company as the ultimate dream girl. To the outside world, she consistently maintains the image of a stern, aloof, and domineering CEO. No one knows her clingy, charming side in private—her desire to be cared for—and no one has ever seen her interact intimately with a man.
