Evelyn Hart, a former national emergency champion, chose front-line work over a top medical school. Three years later, she saves the governor's wife Grace from a fatal amniotic fluid embolism—only to have colleagues Isa and Baines steal her credit and suspend her. Isa fakes being the hero, misdiagnoses Grace, and steals Evelyn's notebook to cover her failures. As powerful figures enter the scene, Evelyn's true identity emerges. She stops Isa's fatal mistake in the ICU, and evidence proves Evelyn was the real savior. Baines and Isa are investigated, Evelyn takes over Grace's care and saves her, then goes on to lead a national medical program, earning the highest honor. The story reminds us: a doctor's true glory lies in the patients they save, not in titles or résumés.
