Elizabeth sacrificed her health in her husband Marius's lab—and paid for it with permanent reproductive damage. After eight months of IVF in Switzerland, she finally carried his child. She flew home to surprise him—and found him cradling his intern Sylvia, who was pregnant with his baby. Elizabeth didn't scream. She aborted her child, erased their tattoo, signed the divorce papers, and married Wayne—who had always loved her quietly. Marius refused to let go. At her birthday dinner, Sylvia framed her. Scalding soup burned Elizabeth's leg—but Marius left her on the cold floor and rushed Sylvia to the hospital. By the time Elizabeth crawled home, Marius had moved Sylvia in. Sylvia destroyed her mother's heirloom dress, framed her for pushing, and Marius had Elizabeth thrown into the pool all night—she miscarried, nearly died. Wayne saved her. Marius wept over Sylvia's newborn son—not knowing Elizabeth had already married Wayne. He crashed the wedding, kidnapped her, but Wayne took her back. Elizabeth sold her shares, manipulated the stock, and sent his company into bankruptcy. Sylvia fled with $200 million and her lover—she was caught, escaped, and tried to run Elizabeth down. Wayne was waiting. She went to prison. Marius learned the truth too late: Sylvia's child was never his. The affair was a setup from the start. Elizabeth was pregnant again—with Wayne's child. A new life, finally her own. ——I gave you everything. You held her hand. Now you have nothing—and I've already walked too far.
