At the Grand Hyatt Los Angeles, hotel server Vela was pulled into a room by Rex, a poisoned heir. One night changed everything. He left her a ruby necklace and a promise to return. Her colleague Megan stole the necklace — and the identity. She became Rex's fiancée. Vela was fired, pregnant, and alone. She survived. She worked. She waited. Rex noticed the cracks: the wrong scent, the missing scar, a phone number that didn't match. His mother investigated. The truth broke through: Vela was the real woman from that night. But when Rex tried to save Vela, his body rejected her blood. The doctors said the only explanation was family ties. Then Vela's aunt confessed: Vela was adopted. DNA proved she was the long-lost daughter of the Gill family — switched at birth twenty-five years ago. They found each other. They fell in love. They planned a future. Then Rex discovered the curse: the "Twin Flower" — if they stayed together, one would die. He vanished. For five years. He left her a child. He left her nothing but a reason to wait. Five years later, in a park, a little girl ran up to a stranger. She knew his face from the photos her mother kept hidden. "Are you my daddy?" Rex knelt. The curse broke. And the ruby — the one that started it all — finally belonged to the right hands.
