Chloe, the heiress of a top multinational conglomerate, lives under an assumed name for five years, working as a lowly cleaner and administrator at her husband Leo's startup tech company, all to keep their "true love bet" amicable. She not only secretly uses a private trust to keep the company afloat, but she is also the true architect of the underlying code for the multi-billion dollar medical AI project, "Genesis." On their fifth wedding anniversary, Chloe is confronted with a $99 server expense report, only to be publicly torn up and verbally abused by Bella, a newly arrived, seemingly sophisticated socialite and chief technology officer. Instead of defending his wife, Leo, in an attempt to curry favor with Bella, teams up with his ungrateful sister Grace, whom Chloe personally mentored, and, with the help of unscrupulous lawyers, forces Chloe to sign a divorce agreement leaving her with nothing, hoping to seize her core patents. Seeing this group of ungrateful vampires, Chloe is utterly heartbroken and tears off her facade.
