The Black family, oldest among vampires, carries an ancient curse: every firstborn daughter, upon turning three hundred, is consumed by the primordial consciousness—becoming a mindless slaughterer. A century ago, the previous queen succumbed and murdered the wolf prince's parents, sealing an eternal blood feud. The current queen, Evelyn, to save her younger sister Seraphina from the same fate, struck her with the Water of Forgetting and threw her from a cliff, then claimed Seraphina died at wolf hands—rising to the throne alone, bearing infamy for the sake of love. Seraphina survived, stripped of power, and drifted to a border town. There, she was taken in by Leon—the amnesiac wolf prince who once executed his own brother to quell a rebellion, then sealed his memories and strength to escape the weight of his crown. He runs a scrapyard. He's gentle. He slowly melts her thorns, one day at a time. When the curse fragments stir within her, and the assassin squads of both races close in, they rediscover their truth. Together, they purify the primordial corruption with wolf-king essence and Black blood—breaking the curse that has tormented their lines for millennia. Peace comes at last. Seraphina and Leon, scarred and weary, choose to remain in the border town. Not as rulers. Not as soldiers. Just as two broken souls healing each other, one quiet day at a time.
