Rosalind Raven was a low-born half-blood witch—and wife to Malachi Vane, Speaker of the Magic Council. For five years, she labored in silence: translating ancient texts, mending the Starfall Wall, and securing his power—yet nobles always sneered at her as "unworthy." On the day Malachi became Supreme Speaker, he placed the Star-Moon Badge—rightfully hers—on the chest of Saint Aurora Thorn, and announced their soul-binding a week away. Rosalind discovered Aurora carried soul-corruption, but when she warned Malachi, he accused her of jealousy and malice. After repeated humiliations, Rosalind severed their marriage pact—and awakened the dormant Eternal Night bloodline within her. Alaric Morrow, master of the Obsidian Tower, revealed she was not a lowly half-blood, but the lost heiress of the Eternal Night lineage. At the magic tournament, Rosalind won the Eternal Heart—but Malachi, believing her corrupted and betraying him, shattered it with his own hands. Only then did he learn the truth: Aurora was infected, and he had soul-bound himself to her—destroying his only lifeline. The Starfall Wall crumbled as soul-corruption spread. The council discovered that Rosalind, not Malachi, had been the true creator and power source of the wall—he had stolen her legacy. Rosalind entered the Obsidian Tower trial, shattered her old marriage, and awakened fully as the Eternal Night heir. Malachi and Aurora tried to take her blood to survive, but their crimes were exposed: Aurora breached forbidden ruins to become the source of corruption; Malachi covered it up, abused power, and conspired to kill the heiress. They were stripped of titles and consumed by their own soul-binding backlash. Rosalind forgave nothing. She built the Eternal Night Barrier, abolished bloodline restrictions, and established a new order under the Obsidian Tower—becoming the realm's highest guardian. No longer a speaker's wife. No longer looked down upon. The queen who earned her crown.
