Ryan Carroll, a low‑ranked designated driver, catches his live‑in girlfriend Irene cheating with casino manager Victor on a rainy night. Overwhelmed by betrayal and humiliation, he is brutally beaten by Victor. On the brink of despair, he unexpectedly awakens x‑ray vision superpowers. To raise money for his critically ill mother, Ryan steps into the Serana Casino. With his x‑ray sight, he turns a one‑thousand‑dollar stake into hundreds of millions in winnings. He defeats casino queen Seraphina in public, forcing her to honor their bet and cripple Victor’s hands, while winning her admiration. Ryan’s powers keep evolving afterward. Bullet‑prediction vision allows him to take down mafia leader Patrick. Stock‑foreseeing sight earns him tens of billions by short‑selling corporate giants. His financial clairvoyance brings down Washington politicians and Victor, heir to the Rothschild family. He fights his way from New York to London, defeating two financial tycoons, Lawrence Cross and Alex Rothschild, on Wall Street and across European financial battlegrounds. In the end, Ryan builds a trans‑Atlantic business empire and stands atop the world.
