On the surface, Ava Rhodes is an overweight bride-to-be scorned by her fiancé; in reality, she is "A-Queen," a legendary figure who had gone into hiding three years prior. On the eve of the wedding, she catches her fiancé, Ryan, having an affair with the maid, Vanessa, and discovers they have been drugging her—plotting to kill her during the ceremony and seize a contract worth hundreds of billions. Ava takes a potent antidote to restore her true appearance and makes a dramatic return on the wedding day clad in a striking black gown. Backed by her three loyal lieutenants and the formidable "Queen Office," she publicly settles scores and exposes the conspiracy, all while becoming entangled once more with Richard Vance—a man whose life she had saved three years earlier.
