Ryan, a business elite, was betrayed by his wife Chloe and the con artist Ethan in his past life—crippled in a car crash, stripped of company, wealth, and connections, and left to die. Reborn three years earlier, he saw their greed clearly and vowed revenge. At a dinner, Ethan's arrogant mother Sterling ordered Ryan around while Chloe forced him to kneel in apology. Ryan struck back, broke the peace, and secretly audited Chloe's embezzled accounts, froze her assets, and hired a top divorce lawyer. To please Ethan, Chloe booked the Ritz-Carlton for a lavish party, racking up $13 million in debt. She forced Ryan to pay, offered bad checks and fake jewelry, and was exposed—becoming a laughingstock. Ethan attacked someone; the conflict exploded. At Nai Shan Hospital—where Ryan had arranged a private room for his friend Ivy's grandfather, with priceless life-saving medicine—Chloe and Ethan bragged and smashed two vials, enraging Ivy's brother Luke, a New York power broker. Sterling suffered kidney failure; Ethan refused to donate. Chloe found no help—divorced from Ryan, she had lost all resources. Ryan cut off their escape routes and exposed Ethan as a penniless fraud. Chloe sold assets to raise money, but Ethan stole it. Desperate, they bought guns to kill Ryan—but fell into his trap, accidentally shooting Chloe's parents and brother. Police arrested them: Ethan got prison; Chloe was committed to a mental hospital. Ryan moved on, fell in love with Ivy, and married her. He kept his integrity and found a peaceful, happy new life.
