Blair Mercer, a powerful New York fashion tycoon, gets an anonymous tip that her husband Benedict’s mistress sits at their fashion week banquet table. She suspects her sister, assistant and best friend one by one, unaware the traitor is her jealous younger sister Stella, Benedict’s secret lover. The pair drug Blair with hallucinogens and lock her in a mental asylum to seize her fashion empire and trust funds. To survive and seek revenge, Blair pretends to lose her mind and secretly gathers evidence. She stages a false asset waiver, then makes a stunning comeback at the company. With FBI agents, she arrests the two for attempted murder and massive commercial fraud. Five years later, the ruined pair cross paths on the street; deranged Stella stabs Benedict to death. Blair stands atop Manhattan, victorious over all betrayal.
