Ivy, a wealthy heiress suffering from a stress disorder, endured a harrowing cycle of bankruptcy and the tragedy of her father’s gruesome death—even finding herself sold at an underground auction after her fall from grace. After a night of vengeance at the hands of Silas—a former junior classmate from a humble background whom she had once tormented—she was shocked to find herself transported back in time by two years. Upon her rebirth, and knowing that Silas was destined to be reclaimed by a powerful conglomerate and rise as a new elite, Ivy resolved to suppress her manic impulses and destructive urges; she sought to atone for her past cruelty by offering financial redemption and attempting to revert to a platonic friendship. However, Silas—mired in destitution and desperate for money—became maddeningly unsettled by her attempts to distance herself; he went so far as to voluntarily shackle himself to her, orchestrating a scheme that plunged their transactional and physical entanglement into even deeper, darker waters. Amidst a Wall Street conspiracy involving malicious short-selling and a lethal threat from a mysterious figure named Sophia, Ivy joined forces with Silas to launch a desperate counterattack and safeguard her father and family. Through this twisted, taboo, yet undying tug-of-war of fate, they ultimately achieved the redemption of each other's souls.
