Ella wrote the core algorithm for her boyfriend, propelling a Silicon Valley startup to the brink of listing on NASDAQ. But little did she know, it was all a scheme orchestrated by her boyfriend and best friend! The scumbag used a treacherous cohabitation trust agreement to kick her out, then gave the patent to his mistress. He also exploited loopholes in joint tax filings to bankrupt Ella, aiming to cripple her career. Driven to desperation, Ella abandoned her lowly programmer persona and reclaimed her hidden identity—a heiress from a top North American wealthy family, and also the behind-the-scenes venture capitalist controlling her boyfriend's company.
