Serena was the CEO of Vance Group, a woman who gave everything to her husband Julian and her best friend Chloe. At a masked charity auction, she caught them in bed together—and watched Julian offer Chloe a necklace worth half a billion dollars, a family heirloom Serena had trusted him with. She didn't confront them. She investigated. What she found was worse: Julian had been poisoning her coffee for months, slowly killing her to seize her company. Serena played dead. She staged a near-fatal accident and let Julian throw a victory party on his luxury yacht. When he toasted his takeover, she rose from the shadows, alive and furious. She showed the investors his embezzlement records. She played the recording of his murder plot. She watched his face crumble. Julian and Chloe were arrested. Serena survived. Her faithful assistant Arthur, who had risked everything to help her, took a bullet meant for her during the chaos. He lived. She chose him. Not for power. Not for money. For love.
