Intern Avery is humiliated when her boyfriend Chad and adopted daughter Amber steal her research report; drunk and distraught, she stumbles into the arms of the drugged CEO Alexander, and after a one‑night encounter, mistakes him for a male escort and leaves sixty dollars. When she becomes pregnant, a paternity test confirms the children are Alexander's, and his mother Victoria insists on making Avery the lady of the house. Amber, who is actually Alexander's adopted daughter, teams up with others to repeatedly humiliate Avery, even forcing her to drink alcohol and causing a threatened miscarriage, but Alexander steps in to punish the offenders and protect his wife. Amber then conspires with Avery's greedy family members and short‑selling firms to fabricate scandals; Avery calmly preserves evidence and fights back, while Alexander suddenly makes a public revelation that Amber is not his biological daughter—a declaration that will completely reshape the family's power structure. The fate of the unborn twins, the control of the group, and Alexander's true feelings for Avery all hang in the balance amid this storm…
