Lexi is betrayed in New York by her fiancé, who cheats with her boss, ruins her FICO credit score, and kicks her out of the brand under the excuse of "creative burnout." Facing default on her Ivy League student loans, Lexi enters a whirlwind marriage with Alexander, an Uber driver just released from prison for taking the fall for his family. Their married life is frugal but warm—until her ex uses a non-compete clause to crush her and publicly tears up her manuscripts. What Lexi doesn't know is that Alexander, who drives her to and from work every day, is actually a hundred-billion-dollar Wall Street tycoon! Faced with exploitation, Lexi drops a bombshell design that shocks the New York fashion world. Alexander immediately cuts off the villains' funding and declares war: "Since you've gone too far, I'll buy Wall Street and send you straight to hell."
