Rachel, once the legendary top agent codenamed Raven, abandons her dangerous past to live a quiet life as a newspaper editor. She marries the ambitious writer Jon, even hiding her fertility to protect his pride—only to discover he is cheating on her with rising star Michelle. Worse, he has taken out a huge life insurance policy on her and hired killers to murder her for the payout. Betrayed and furious, Rachel reawakens her lethal agent identity. She fights back, exposes Jon and Michelle’s scandals, and sends them to prison. On the rebound, Rachel has a one-night stand with a young, handsome “gigolo” named Louis—unaware he is actually the disguised heir to the billion-dollar Harris family. He has secretly loved and guarded her since he was a helpless boy she saved eleven years ago. Louis stays by Rachel’s side, helping her defeat enemies and uncover the truth: her father’s death years ago was no accident—he was killed by the ruthless Cohen crime family, who also murdered Louis’s mother, the famous singer Rose. To avenge her father, Rachel leaves Louis to face the Cohen family alone. Louis risks everything, chases after her, and takes a fatal bullet to save her life. While Louis is unconscious, Rachel reads his diary and learns the full truth: his decade-long secret crush, his hidden identity, and his undying loyalty. When Louis wakes up, he reveals himself as the true heir of Harris Group. He publicly proposes to Rachel, defeats the Cohen family, and gives her everything. From a betrayed wife to a badass agent reborn, Rachel finally finds the love and protection she has always deserved.
