Sophia is the "Black Mamba" who terrifies the New York underworld, yet she willingly hides her identity for her husband Jax, secretly using black money to lift him into Wall Street's elite. But he takes her money to court a top heiress, sneering at Sophia that she's "only fit for baking apple pie." The night she's cast out with nothing, she takes off her apron and reveals the snake ring of the godfather's heir—seven days later, she will become the new godmother. One phone call halts the IPO, crashing her ex's company to zero. At her succession ceremony, she exposes her stepsister's plot to usurp power, and brings back the "resurrected" old godfather. All of New York kneels as she returns. And the man truly worthy of her has long torn up his engagement, waiting for her.
