Jade, a 26-year-old entertainment lawyer, suffers a double betrayal—at the hands of both her boyfriend and her roommate—at a penthouse ballroom in Manhattan. Yet, amidst this humiliating ordeal, she receives an urgent summons from her assistant, Priya: she must appear before the Trust Committee as a married woman within three days—before her 30th birthday—or forfeit control of her company. Desperate and cornered, Jade approaches Callum Rhodes—a man of austere demeanor who exudes an aura of inherent danger—in a parking garage and proposes a marriage of convenience. The two quickly strike a deal, agreeing to live together for three months.
