After her father is dismembered and a bloodied family seal frames her for murder and insurance fraud, she finds herself cornered by a corrupt uncle and his cop allies. Springdale City's most ruthless forensic examiner gives her an ultimatum against a thawing tank: take a bullet or become his accomplice. Instead, she smirks and undoes his white coat—“Being an accomplice is a loss. I’ll be your creditor.” To clear her name, she turns the cold-blooded genius into her personal weapon. By day, they take down enemies—she schemes, he slices through forged evidence. By night, the stoic examiner reveals a possessive obsession. Just as revenge seems within reach, she discovers a hidden room in his study: walls covered with surveillance of her every move for the past decade, and at the center, the “accidental death” plan for her father—stamped with his seal. He walks in with warm milk, locks the door, and murmurs, “You think this is cruel? The game has only just begun.”
