Five years ago, Anya became unexpectedly pregnant. Her fiancé Jax falsely claimed the child as his own in order to steal her core design drawings and launch his own brand. Five years later, needing a legal guardianship certificate and high family asset guarantee for her daughter Marguerite’s school enrollment, Anya went to the city hall for registration—but Jax never showed up. To secure her daughter’s place in school, she turned around and married Jameson, a Wall Street hidden tycoon who had also been stood up at the same hall, on the spot.
