"He believed her family killed his parents in a plane crash. Blinded by grief and rage, he took revenge on the woman who loved him most. He destroyed her family, took her child, let his mistress humiliate her, and even stole her ability to bear children. Broken, blind, and hopeless, she set herself on fire—and was saved by another man, losing all memory of her past. Only after her “death” did he learn the truth: her family was innocent. Consumed by regret, he searched the world for her. When he found her, she didn't recognize him. He gave her his own corneas to restore her sight—a small atonement for the irreparable damage he had done. A story of a love that turned to ash, a night that lasted too long, and a man who would burn forever to bring her back."
