Rhea was once one of the Air Force's top stealth fighter pilots. After a top-secret mission, to evade investigation, she changed her name and became a civilian airline captain, entering into a marriage of convenience with Jack, a wealthy heir. She thought this would bring her peace, but on their wedding anniversary, she witnessed Jack embracing his secretary, Selene, and throwing divorce papers in her face. Jack claimed that Selene was the one who risked her life to rescue him from a plane crash during a blizzard on the Alaskan border. Looking at the man she had once protected with her life, Rhea's heart was as cold as the Arctic Ocean—it was she who had braved a deadly thunderstorm to complete a near-suicidal rescue. She didn't expose him on the spot. To clear Selene's name, Jack, with the help of his family, attempted to force Rhea out of the airline under the pretext of "mental instability." Rhea's pilot's license faced scrutiny, and her former enemies, sensing the danger, began searching for her in the shadows of the city. Both the battlefield and her marriage slammed shut on her. Rhea tore up the divorce papers and removed her wedding ring. She would no longer hide. Without Rhea's protection, the Jack family business plummeted. When the family's finances reached their limit, Rhea appeared. She didn't come alone. High-ranking officials from the Federal Aviation Administration, the Wall Street broker she had once saved, and the team she had trained years ago, now head of the aviation safety investigation department, all stood behind her. Under everyone's watchful eyes, Jack finally recognized the familiar flight path signature on the projector screen—it was Rhea. Rhea had already turned and left; her earpiece betrayed the control tower's approval of her private flight plan. She walked towards the black business jet waiting for her at the end of the runway. Beside the cabin door, a partner who had once stood shoulder-to-shoulder with her through life-or-death situations was raising a coffee cup in greeting. The engines roared to life. She glanced back at the brightly lit but crumbling banquet hall and pulled down the cockpit window shade.
