"At a moonlit street corner on the border, a deadly hunt is unfolding. Lilith Valerius is being cornered by Elias Voss, the man she once loved, and his new aristocratic companion, Lenora Thorne. Elias’s golden hair is still dazzling, but his eyes are filled with nothing but cruelty and contempt. Gripping Lila’s throat, he spits out venomous words: “You’re nothing but a lowly human—unworthy even to be my blood servant. Disappear today, once and for all.” Lilith Valerius is the last heir of the Valerius family, a hybrid descendant of vampires and witches. She possesses the ability to walk briefly in sunlight—something pureblood vampires have long coveted—and her blood is a priceless treasure, fatally alluring and highly nourishing to all vampires. To protect her, her family used magic to seal her signature silver‑blonde hair and amber eyes, hid her among humans with the help of her mother’s witch connections, and instructed her to conceal her bloodline forever and keep a low profile. Now, pushed to the edge, Lilith unleashes her hybrid powers and fights back with all her might."
