Ivy and Jack have been in a relationship for five years. After an accidental fall into the water, Ivy impulsively decides to feign amnesia to test her fiancé’s true feelings. To her shock, Jack—eager to marry Emily, an heiress from a wealthy, prominent family—seizes the opportunity to deny their relationship. He even introduces her to his close friend, Alex—heir to a top-tier New York financial conglomerate—falsely claiming that Alex is her actual fiancé. Realizing that Jack has long since betrayed her, Ivy decides to turn the tables, playing along with the ruse alongside Alex. As the two grow closer, Jack begins to regret his actions, while Emily resorts to a series of schemes to sabotage Ivy. Despite facing opposition from his family, public scrutiny, and various conspiracies, Alex remains steadfast in his commitment to Ivy. In the end, the truth is revealed: Alex had known all along that Ivy was faking her amnesia, yet he had willingly played along. Jack and his mistress ultimately face the consequences of their own actions, and Ivy finally leaves behind a toxic relationship to embrace the true happiness she deserves.
