Ailala Voss, a retired special forces operative and the orphaned daughter of fallen peacekeeping heroes, used her parents' death benefits to fund her husband Carter’s tech startup. After stepping back from her career for love, she managed the household and leveraged her elite cyber skills to pave the way for Carter’s success—only to find him involved with Serena, the co-pilot daughter of a wealthy dynasty. Upon returning home with her parents' ashes, Ailala caught Carter gifting a commemorative necklace—honoring her mother’s heroism—to his mistress. Her mother-in-law publicly reviled the ashes as a source of bad luck, and with Carter blindly siding with the other woman, a heartbroken Ailala demanded a divorce. While laying her parents to rest, she crossed paths with Silas, a titan in the military-industrial security sector, and the two joined forces to thwart multiple assassination attempts. Carter and his mother repeatedly humiliated the memory of Ailala’s heroic parents, with Carter even slapping her in public. Deprived of Ailala’s support, his company was devastated by a massive cyberattack and teetered on the brink of bankruptcy, forcing him to seek a reconciliation. Silas, who held deep respect for fallen heroes, exerted covert pressure to compel Carter to meet Ailala’s demands regarding the division of assets. On the day of the divorce, Serena hired thugs to ambush Ailala; a skilled combatant, Ailala easily subdued them and stumbled upon a note revealing the presence of a mole within the Silas Group. Having severed ties with her failed marriage and resolved to honor her parents' legacy of loyalty to the nation, Ailala accepted an offer to join Silas’s multinational security operations. She embarked on a new journey—safeguarding stability while investigating the mystery of the mole.
