Before the demon hunter Karen set off for battle, he planned to propose. His father Marquis Voss forged a fake dark plague document out of class prejudice to separate him from his lover Elowen. To save Karen, Elowen staged a betrayal with her friend Loran and gave birth to their son Merrick alone. Six years later, Karen returned as a powerful leader. Suspecting the boy’s special bloodline, he kept probing him. Leah, a noble lady infatuated with Karen, repeatedly framed Elowen and released forbidden monsters at the ceremony to kill her. After uncovering all plots, Karen had all villains punished, abandoned his high rank, and lived peacefully with Elowen and their son on the frontier.
