A young widow Clara, after a night in a rose garden with an unknown man, gives birth to his child. Forced to abandon the baby at the castle, she later enters as a wet nurse—only to find the "little prince" is her own son, and the crown prince is that man. Amid plots and peril, Gabriel protects her fiercely. When the ring, blue eyes, and the child's bond reveal the truth, he kneels and marries her. From accident to royal vow, her true crown is won not by birth, but by love.
