Ava waited seven years for Nick. At the altar, maid of honor Lila kisses him and calls it a joke. He holds Lila, not her. He always picks the "friend." Ava texts Ethan: come steal me. He walks the aisle. Valenti threatens her docks; Ethan says they're the ones begging Cross. They call him a hired actor. He runs the house, takes a bullet, and promises a wedding that is only hers. Nick kneels too late. She marries Ethan. When she texted, he was already in the city.
