No one knows Serafina is the hidden daughter of New York’s most feared mafia boss. For five years, she concealed her identity, cleared Damian’s debts, protected him from enemies, and secured the $30 million contract that could save his company. But when she arrives at his pre-IPO gala with a gunshot wound, Damian is proposing to his young intern, Lillian—and handing her Serafina’s project. Humiliated and betrayed, Serafina cancels the deal and withdraws her family’s protection. As Damian’s empire begins to collapse, he finally discovers that the woman he discarded was the only reason he ever survived.
