A modern office worker wakes up inside a novel — as Lyra Sterling, the cruel mistress who torments her four beast mates for fun. Then a system activates. A mission appears: regain the trust of all four mates, or perish. Desperate to survive, she turns everything around. Slowly, hatred turns to loyalty. Loyalty turns to love. Just as everything seems perfect, her mother demands the ultimate sacrifice: the lives of her mates for a divine ascension. Lyra refuses. Even if it means dying herself. But when she falls, they burn their own souls to save her. And in that moment, she realizes: she was never the one in control. She was always the one they would die for.
