Betrayed by her stepsister Sera and fiancé Henri, Elara is pushed off a cliff on her wedding day. She drags Sera down with her—and both are reborn. On the eve of the Flower-Bond Ceremony, Elara tosses her bouquet. Sera shoves her; the bouquet lands among commoners, caught by a disguised man—Cassian, CEO of the British East India Company, hiding from an arranged marriage. Mocked for marrying a “penniless commoner,” Elara fiercely defends him. He falls for her on the spot. Meanwhile, his mother learns the truth and heads for the venue.
