What is White Wolf Rising about?

Aria, a young she-wolf of the North, fails to shift during her awakening ceremony and is branded wolfless. Her fiancé Kael breaks their engagement in public and chooses Lyra as his new Luna candidate, while the council moves to exile Aria from the pack. Determined to prove herself, Aria claims her right to a Trial, only to be hunted through the snow by Lyra’s men. On the edge of death, her hidden white wolf bloodline finally awakens. Saved by an exiled hunter, Aria enters White Fang Academy under a new name and starts again from the lowest rank. Through humiliation, schemes, and brutal battles, she rises as the academy’s darkest horse. At the Alpha Trial, she defeats Lyra and Kael, choosing not to become a Luna, but the White Wolf Queen who will reclaim the North.
