Olivia, a highly skilled modern surgeon, accidentally travels back to the medieval Kingdom of Valentia. She wakes as an orphan also named Olivia, whose vicious aunt plans to sell her as a bride—and living burial sacrifice—to the exiled Prince Leon. Leon survived a brutal battle a year ago but is crippled, covered in festering wounds, and imprisoned in the White Tower, framed for treason and awaiting death. Queen Sophia and Crown Prince Thorne are determined to end his life. Olivia’s only way to survive is to keep the half-dead prince alive. Using her surgical expertise and modern medical supplies brought through the time rift, she heals Leon. Side by side, they unravel Sophia and Thorne’s conspiracies, clear Leon’s name before the king, and pave his path to the throne. Along the way, they fall deeply in love and finally find lasting happiness together.
