Pregnant Emily Whitmore repeatedly begs her husband, Daniel Cole, to protect their family—only to be met with suspicion and abandonment. Blinded by his supposedly dying former lover, Jessica, Daniel ignores his daughter’s abuse and makes a devastating choice that costs Emily their unborn child. Heartbroken, Emily takes her daughter and leaves, but a car accident soon leads everyone to believe they are dead. Three years later, a guilt-ridden Daniel walks into a church and sees the impossible: his “dead” wife in a wedding dress, ready to marry another man. Desperate to reclaim the family he destroyed, Daniel begins an obsessive pursuit for forgiveness. But Emily has rebuilt her life, and even the greatest sacrifice may not be enough to restore a love shattered beyond repair.
