Lyra, the Omega princess carrying the weight of her slaughtered pack, is forced into marriage with Astrid, the Alpha Wolf Queen she believes massacred her family. What begins as a calculated assassination awakens a fated mate bond neither can escape. Trapped in the ancient castle, they circle each other like predator and prey. Cold hatred bleeds into forbidden desire. Lyra falls for the enemy she swore to kill, and the self-loathing tears her apart. In a moment of anguished resolve, she drives a poisoned blade into Astrid's heart. Fleeing home, Lyra is betrayed by her uncle, the true architect of the genocide. The shattering truth emerges: five years ago, Astrid took the blame for a massacre she tried to stop, sacrificing everything to save Lyra's life. The blade Lyra used was meant for her savior, not her enemy. Dying, Astrid transforms into a golden-flamed wolf and storms the frozen palace one last time. Through blood and fire, she tears down the lies. Lyra awakens as queen. Together, they execute the real murderer, claim twin thrones, and kiss before the realm as equals.
